Residential – international home relocation and turnkey project design and project management

2000 sqm

Goal achieved

Need for calm

Our brief was to create a space that was in harmony with the environment and to provide a perfect sanctuary for our client.  The furnishings were to be a celebration of craft and charisma and while subtle contemporary overtones were desired a warm, homely and timelessly sophisticated look was to dominate.

Sustainability and functionality were to be key design elements. This project was a beginning to end international home relocation that was managed in totality and installed by our team.

Our primary focus was creating a serene and calm atmosphere in this home by using colour as a tool – blue, yellow, green and white. We used a predominantly blue base to create an overriding link with the 180-degree sea-view evident from most rooms in this beautiful home.

All the bespoke furniture was designed to ensure a timeless and classic aesthetic allowing for the finished design to maintain relevance over time. Raw materials used are wood, aluminum and stainless steel to avoid rust complications due to proximity to the ocean.

The theme of the carefully selected artworks are portraits, used to create a sense of connection and energy in this lovely home by subconsciously reducing the size of all the spaces through filling them with people.

The result is a carefully curated and harmoniously balanced home being created, allowing for calm and connection with both the environment and the people in it.
