The total renovation of this elegant home set on a national heritage site near Sintra involved our team embracing both the interior architecture and design to achieve a stunning turnkey project. This also involved an international relocation for this family allowing them to arrive to a fully functional home.
The brief was to use existing furniture where possible, add bespoke items where required and to add to their extensive art collection where that was needed.
This home was to accommodate a family but also very importantly to entertain extended family and friends. It is now an entertainers delight with the opening up of the space creating better flow but still allowing for privacy and time out when needed.
Ceilings were leveled, alcoves and curves straightened out and the roof lifted in places to created more space namely 2 extra bedrooms for the boys. The home is nestled on a national heritage golf course but retains total privacy and has a beautiful serene feeling.
